Little Sparkles (ages 5-8 years old)
Little Sparkles parties are specifically for ages 5 to 8 years old where each child gets to make a wrap-around bracelet using a strong pre-shaped steel wire. The children get to choose from an array of glass beads to make their design look the best. This design is then threaded onto the wire and finished off by myself. Whilst the children are busy choosing and designing their bracelets they will each get to choose a special pendant which I will attach to an organza ribbon and cord necklace. This necklace will be put into their special named organza gift bag along with their finished piece.
I like to work from a table with chairs, so this will often dictate the number of guests you invite, ideally 6-12 at home, or up to 18 at a larger venue. I also restrict the numbers so that I am able to help each individual child to make a bracelet they can be proud of.
I find that one hour is plenty for a Little Sparkles Party, allowing just the right amount of time to be totally absorbed in making a special bracelet before concentration wanes!
