Little Sparkles (ages 5-8 years old)
Little Sparkles parties are specifically for ages 5 to 8 years old where each child gets to make a wrap-around bracelet using a strong pre-shaped steel wire. The children get to choose from a selection of designs to copy and make their own.
This design is then threaded onto the wire and finished off by myself. If there is enough time they can go on to make a second bracelet, either matching the first so they can be worn together for extra effect or something completely different style wise!
I like to work from a table with chairs, so this will often dictate the number of guests you invite, ideally 6-12 at home, or up to 18 at a larger venue. I also restrict the numbers so that I am able to help each individual child to make a bracelet they can be proud of.
I find that one hour is plenty for a Little Sparkles Party, allowing just the right amount of time to be totally absorbed in making a special bracelet before concentration wanes!
